Adult Ministries

• Drive a bus to pick up seniors (must have CDL-one a month)

• Valet parking attendant for seniors/disabled (1/month)

• Lead a community group (time commitment as wanted)

Care Ministry

​

• Prayer team (pray over incoming weekly requests/send a card)

• Visit shut-ins (1-2 hours/week)

• Take a meal post-surgery (varied as needed)

Children

​

• Nursery caregiver (1 hour/month)

• Kids Worship small group leader (5-7 kids,1 hour/month)

• Kids Check-in desk monitor (1 hour/month)

• Love The Kids Mentor (1 hr/week)

• Love The Kids prayer partner (weekly or as requested)

Facilities

​

• Vacuum team (1-2 hours/week flexible) 

• window/glass door cleaning (1-2 hours/week flexible)

Community Food Pantry

​

• Mondays 1-3pm–prep and pack food boxes 

• Mondays 3-5pm–hand out food boxes 

• 3rd Wednesday each month–12-4pm unload and hand out fresh food boxes

Hospitality

​

• Welcome Center volunteer (once/month at service of your choice)

• Coffee Host/Hostess (once/month 9:45-10:45)

• Coffee Brewer (once/month for 9-10:30)

• 1st Service Door Greeter (once/month 8:30-9:00)

• 2nd Service Door Greeter (once/month 10:00-10:30)

Tech Ministry

​

• Tech team/either service (sound, slides/media, camera, lights) 1/month

Teen Ministry

​

• Prayer partner (weekly)

• Teen small group leader (weekly)

Worship Arts

​

• 2nd Service Worship Team - Musicians and Vocalists (1/month–7pm Wed. rehearsal /Sunday am team)

• 2nd Service Praise Choir (details TBD) 

• 1st Service Musicians/Vocalists (Sunday morning pre-service rehearsal) 

• 1st Service Choir (Thursdays @ 7:30pm rehearsal)

Community Service

​

• Help prepare/serve funeral dinners (varied based on funeral #s) 

• Mow a lawn, rake leaves, light house-keeping for infirmed (varied/upon referral)

• Community care point person (match needs with volunteers)

• Help MOFIA with moving households for older/infirmed people (varied-as requested)

 

Behind the Scenes

• Security team member (Sundays for 1.5 hours once/month)

• Prayer warrior (during a service in the prayer room-varied)

• Communion set-up/preparation (every other month)

• Make a dessert for a funeral dinner(random) 

• Help with administrative tasks in the office (stuffing envelopes, etc.-varied as needed) 

 

Young Adult Ministry

• Prayer partner (weekly and by request)

• SAU Care partner (invite SAU student to dinner/send a care package 2x/sem.) 

• Prepare a Thursday night dinner for “Deep Roots” college worship (approx. 25-30)
